Course writing
If you’re not a natural writer or you hate writing, the prospect of writing an entire course can be a huge challenge. Working with course specifications, learning outcomes or simply a title, my course writing process has been used to write more than 500 courses to date. Many of these have been CPD accredited or NVQ approved. I can write NVQ workbooks which match specifications from awarding bodies and prepare written assessments for students to check their learning.
E-LEARNING DEVELOPMENT
Using course authoring tools, I will develop a comprehensive elearning course, using instructional design principles. The model I usually work with includes the ADDIE framework which guides the process. I will incorporate interactivity, gamification, activities and knowledge checks as well as longer, more formal assessments to make the learning process fun and engaging. The elearning development will be planned in consultation with you, keeping in mind the needs of your students.
COURSE CONSULTING
Course creation is a complicated area with a lot of moving parts. In this consulting service, I will work with you to gain clarity on your idea, build the course framework and identify learning objectives. From here, we will work on the content of your course, making sure that it hits all the learning outcomes incorporating the necessary activities and gamification. The next phase will work through tech, looking at different learning management systems and identifying which is the best one for your course. The final stage of the consulting process will look at how to promote your course and gather feedback so you can constantly review, refine and improve.
